Ride Schedule

 

2022 ‘South Dakota Saga’ Ride Schedule

Check back frequently as schedule and route are subject to change.

Day 1

Wednesday, May 25:   Early arrivals, set up, and fellowship at Stanley County Fairgrounds in Ft. Pierre.  The rodeo grounds are located at the south end of Ft. Pierre, (310 Casey Tibbs St.). There is plenty of area to “leg up” the horses.  There will also be time to enjoy the sights of Pierre and Ft. Pierre.

Day 2

Thursday, May 26:  Leave from the Stanley County Fairgrounds at 8:00 am Central time. The drive out will be less than 10 miles. The scenic ride will be between 15 and 18 miles.  We will have water for the horses available at the noon hour. The ending point will be within 5 miles of the starting point.  Support staff will be available to move trailers.  Return to the Stanley County Fairgrounds.

Day 3

Friday, May 27:   Leave from the Stanley County Fairgrounds at 8:00 am Central time.  The drive out will be less than 10 miles. The scenic ride will be between 15 and 18 miles.  We will have water for the horses available at the noon hour. The ending point will be within 5 miles of the starting point. Support staff will be available to move trailers. Return to the Stanley County Fairgrounds.

Day 4

Saturday, May 28:  Leave from the Stanley County Fairgrounds at 8:00 am Central time.  The drive out will be less than 10 miles. The ride will be between 8 and 10 miles.  We will have water for the horses available at the noon hour. The ending point will be the Stanley County Fairgrounds. The route will take us to a point overlooking the town, then through the downtown streets of Ft. Pierre.  An evening meal will be furnished by the Ft. Pierre Chamber of Commerce, followed by a fellowship gathering and silent auction.
